Role & Responsibilities
- Lead industrialization projects for new watch and garment products autonomously, from development handover to production ramp-up.
- Analyse technical constructions and orient design choices to align with existing manufacturing processes and constraints.
- Provide production with all required industrialization deliverables (master data, work instructions, tooling, manufacturing and assembly drawings) to meet defined quality criteria.
- Coordinate project stakeholders and maintain regular, structured reporting on industrialization progress to ensure on-time delivery of timepieces.
- Facilitate information sharing across the Methods/Product Industrialization team and with cross-functional partners (R&D, Quality, Production, Supply Chain).
Qualifications
- Master HES (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or micromechanics, or comparable technical diploma.
- Minimum 8 years' demonstrable experience in industrialization within the watchmaking sector, ideally including case making, casing/encasing or assembly and/or habillement.
- Proven competence in project management and structured quality methodologies (AMDEC, 8D, SPC).
- Operational experience with an ERP system, ideally SAP.
- CAD competence, preferably Solidworks.
- Strong analytical thinking, critical judgement and problem‑solving orientation.
- Clear, concise communicator with proven ability to coordinate teams, build consensus and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Autonomous, initiative-driven and diplomatic team player with client- and solution-oriented mindset.
Skills
Experience
At least 8 years of industrialization experience in the watch industry, with hands-on exposure to product transfer to production, tooling/assembly processes and cross-functional project coordination. Experience in case making/encasing or garment-related industrialization is highly desirable.
Education
Master HES in Mechanical Engineering or Micromechanics, or an equivalent technical diploma.
