Patek Philippe seeks a Special Components Workshop Manager in Plan-les-Ouates to lead a 22-person horology manufacturing team with rigorous quality standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Guide, mentor, and motivate a 22-member production team to maximize productivity, delivery performance, and achievement of production objectives
  • Oversee workforce training initiatives and develop cross-functional expertise and skill versatility within the workshop
  • Analyse operational processes and implement corrective measures to enhance product quality, reduce waste rates, and optimize cycle times
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules and strict compliance with Patek Philippe's operational and quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement of workshop activities and operational procedures in close coordination with parallel ateliers, support functions, and internal stakeholders across divisions

Qualifications

  • Higher Technical Education (ES/HES) diploma in microtechnology or mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an equivalent supervisory role
  • Demonstrated prior management experience (mandatory)
  • Expert knowledge of machining techniques, particularly automatic screw machining
  • Proficiency with production management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proficient in MS Office suite; SAP experience is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong active listening ability
