Role & Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce defects, improve yield and enhance product reliability across watchmaking processes.
- Conduct root-cause analysis (8D, RCA), define and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and monitor effectiveness.
- Design and maintain quality metrics and KPIs; produce data-driven reports to senior stakeholders highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.
- Perform process audits, capability studies (SPC) and FMEA to anticipate failure modes and embed robust controls.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, supply chain and suppliers to implement process changes and standardise best practices.
- Support quality system documentation and change control to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
- Coach workshop teams on problem-solving methodologies (PDCA, Kaizen) and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Materials Engineering, micro-mechanics, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Demonstrable mastery of continuous improvement methodologies: 8D, FMEA, SPC, PDCA and root-cause analysis.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and to drive measurable quality improvements in precision manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and statistical aptitude with advanced Excel skills and experience using statistical software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to influence production teams and suppliers at all levels.

3–5 years of professional experience in quality improvement, process engineering or similar roles within precision manufacturing; prior experience in watchmaking or micro‑mechanics is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Engineering, micro‑mechanics, or equivalent technical diploma.
