Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for specialized and mainstream press, maintaining direct relationships with journalists and coordinating with the international network of press officers and distributors
- Develop, maintain, and expand a high-level press contact network including journalists, editors, and content creators, while tracking media landscape evolution
- Contribute to the conception and implementation of press communication strategies and action plans, leveraging media knowledge and industry insights
- Organize and oversee events including product launches, inaugurations, watch fairs, exhibitions, and press interviews, ensuring quality and budget compliance
- Create and distribute press content tailored to various digital platforms and channels while maintaining brand consistency and codes
- Coordinate and arrange press visits to the Manufacture and manage post-visit follow-up including press requests and media coverage analysis
- Monitor, analyze, and measure press coverage impact and return on investment, recommending optimization strategies
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in a similar public relations or press relations role, preferably within a watchmaking house
- Diploma in communication, public relations, or equivalent qualification
- Excellent general knowledge with demonstrated passion for horology and the watch industry
- Recognized interpersonal skills and proven ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders including journalists, media, and external partners
- Fluent in French and English; additional languages preferred
- Confirmed project management competencies
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and digital communication tools including social media, online media platforms, and content management systems
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities paired with meticulous execution standards
