Patek Philippe Museum (Geneva) seeks a Part-time Receptionist (70% FTE) for visitor reception, ticketing and front‑desk duties.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and register visitors during museum opening hours, providing courteous and informative front‑of‑house service.
  • Operate ticketing and point‑of‑sale functions, including cash and card transactions and end‑of‑day cash reconciliation.
  • Respond to visitor enquiries regarding opening hours, pricing and exhibitions and ensure a superior visitor experience throughout the visit.
  • Manage incoming telephone calls and general museum email correspondence with professionalism and promptness.
  • Staff the museum kiosk and support light retail or information tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • CFC (Commercial Employee vocational certificate) or equivalent commercial/administrative qualification.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, front‑desk or visitor services role; museum or luxury retail experience is an asset.
  • Fluency in French and English (oral and written); a third language is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal skills and a strong service orientation.
  • Proven ability to handle cash and operate ticketing/point‑of‑sale systems reliably.
  • Availability to work a Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
