Role & Responsibilities

  • Polish electrodes used for electrical discharge machining (EDM) operations
  • Set up and configure ram EDM equipment (FORM 20)
  • Set up and configure wire EDM equipment (PROGRESS VP2)
  • Perform dimensional and aesthetic verification of tooled components
  • Maintain stamping tooling and equipment
  • Machine single-piece tooling using both traditional and CNC techniques

Qualifications

  • CFC (Swiss Federal Certificate) in Tool and Die Making, Stamping Die Maker, or Micromechanics or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated experience with wire EDM and ram EDM processes
  • Prior experience in a similar micromechanical or tooling role
  • Proficiency in technical drawing and blueprint interpretation
  • Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor control
