Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce assembly drawings from validated specifications and develop detailed part drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Prepare and maintain bills of materials and technical data sheets to ensure traceability of technical information.
  • Update and revise existing drawings in accordance with internal procedures and quality standards.
  • Support constructors on shop-floor implementations and contribute improvement proposals as part of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Fabricate prototypes or mock-ups of mechanisms in plexiglass or via 3D printing when required.

Qualifications

  • CFC (Federal VET) as a draughtsman/designer in microtechnology or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, including participation in product or métier projects.
  • Mastery of SolidWorks for 2D/3D technical drawing and detailing.
  • Proficient in GPS dimensioning (cotation GPS) and geometric tolerancing.
  • Good working knowledge of Swiss watchmaking (basic calibres and complications).
  • Understanding of machining processes, materials and industrial production technologies.
  • Familiarity with NIHS (Normes Internationales de l'Horlogerie Suisse) is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy and client-oriented approach.
  • High degree of rigor, precision, analytical thinking and ability to synthesise information.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to integrate new technical requests.
