Role & Responsibilities
- Execute traditional virole work, pivot setting, and spiral forming on flat and Breguet-curve steel balance springs to Patek Philippe specifications
- Conduct comprehensive aesthetic, technical, and dimensional quality control of completed balance-spring assemblies to ensure conformity with established criteria
- Perform analysis and research necessary to recreate balance springs for historical timepieces and heritage restoration projects
- Mentor and train junior watchmakers in balance-spring and escapement-system techniques, ensuring transfer of specialized knowledge and continuous skill development
Qualifications
- CFC (Federal Certificate of Competence) in Watchmaking or equivalent formal qualification
- Minimum 10 years of professional production experience with steel balance-spring assemblies
