Patek Philippe seeks HR Operations Manager in Geneva to manage HR processes, systems, and teams. Senior leadership role reporting to HR Director.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise, develop, and motivate a team of HR professionals (HR Service Managers), fostering collaboration, operational excellence, service orientation, and continuous improvement
  • Direct, structure, and develop HR Service team activities to ensure reliable, rigorous, and consistent management of all administrative processes related to the employee lifecycle
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and effectiveness of services delivered in accordance with Centers of Excellence best practices, to the entire HR team, managers, and employees
  • Collaborate closely with other Centers of Excellence and HR Partners to understand their challenges, prioritize their needs, and co-construct simple, robust operational processes, tools, and solutions adapted to different business activities and employee lifecycle phases
  • Pilot HR information systems in close collaboration with IT teams, ensuring their reliability, evolution, integration, and alignment with business requirements while maintaining a simple, fluid, and professional user experience
  • Guarantee the quality, integrity, security, and availability of HR data, as well as produce indicators supporting decision-making and HR function governance
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and applicable confidentiality and data protection standards for HR data and processes
  • Conduct HR operational transformation projects, particularly in digitalization, workflow optimization, data governance, and employee experience enhancement
  • Define and track team performance indicators to measure service quality, processing timelines, compliance, and operational efficiency
  • Serve as the reference point for matters related to HR processes, tools, and data, ensuring effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with external organizations to ensure compliant processing of employee records
  • Support the Director of Human Resources in strategic and operational projects aimed at strengthening HR function effectiveness and maturity

Qualifications

  • University degree in law, human resources, business administration, information systems, engineering, or another relevant field; HR certification or project management certification is an asset
  • Minimum 15 years of professional HR experience, including several years in HR operations management, HR service center, HR systems, or process improvement roles
  • Solid understanding of HR administrative processes and the employee lifecycle, with demonstrated ability to structure, harmonize, and evolve complex operational practices
  • Proven experience managing HR information system projects, data management, process automation, and collaborating with IT teams
  • Strong knowledge of labor law, compliance requirements, and applicable data privacy and protection regulations
  • Demonstrated competencies in leadership, team management, change management, and cross-functional project sponsorship
  • Service orientation, strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to transform operational needs into simple, robust, and sustainable solutions
  • Excellent communication, influence, and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders, including HR Partners, managers, business units, and IT
  • Advanced proficiency with IT tools and HR solutions; knowledge of SuccessFactors, SAP, or equivalent environment is strongly desired
  • Fluent in French and English
