Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain accurate 2D technical drawings and 3D CAD models for watch components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and tolerances.
  • Translate conceptual sketches and engineering requirements into detailed manufacturing drawings, including tolerancing, surface finish and material callouts.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, prototyping, quality and production teams to iterate designs, support prototype fabrication and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Manage drawing revisions, maintain drawing libraries and contribute to bill of materials (BOM) updates and technical documentation.
  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to internal standards and precision requirements typical of haute horlogerie.

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, watchmaking or equivalent technical drawing qualification.
  • Proven capability producing detailed engineering drawings for micro-mechanical components; familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Strong visual-spatial skills, meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation and version control.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to liaise with engineering, prototyping and production stakeholders to drive manufacturable solutions.
