Patek Philippe SA Genève seeks a Buyer/Procurement Specialist in Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland to manage indirect purchasing, SAP order execution and supplier relations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and manage the full order lifecycle for non-production goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and order execution (follow-ups, escalations, order consolidation and re-planning as required).
- Negotiate and secure optimal terms regarding quality, cost and lead times for external partners.
- Maintain and update procurement data within the purchasing information system.
- Provide functional support to users of the billing/invoicing system and liaise with finance for invoice follow-up.
- Evaluate suppliers against procurement policy metrics (quality, cost, volumes) and participate in sourcing and selection activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and supplier market intelligence.
- Represent and promote Patek Philippe’s values and standards with external suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Purchasing or equivalent; or a Swiss CFC in Logistics with relevant experience.
- Proven experience in indirect procurement within an industrial or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of logistical flows and procurement processes.
- Advanced user-level knowledge of SAP (key-user experience considered an advantage).
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication, negotiation skills and diplomatic stakeholder management.
- Rigorous, analytical, solutions-oriented and able to work effectively within a team and under pressure.

Several years of hands-on experience in indirect purchasing or procurement within an industrial or manufacturing environment, with demonstrated responsibility for end-to-end order management and supplier relations.
Education
Bachelor’s in Industrial Purchasing or equivalent; alternatively Swiss CFC in Logistics with proven procurement experience.
