Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal purchasing conditions for the assigned product portfolio, balancing quality, cost and lead times.
- Lead tender processes and supplier consultations, selecting and qualifying vendors through formal evaluations.
- Convert internal requests into purchase orders and manage order lifecycle to meet the Master Production Plan (Plan Directeur de Production) requirements.
- Monitor and analyse demand and supplier KPIs (quantitative and qualitative), and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish, control and report on the annual purchasing budget for the managed portfolio.
- Maintain and update the procurement information system; track orders and ensure accurate treatment of invoicing elements.
- Conduct supplier visits, gather actionable intelligence and escalate relevant findings to management.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and internal clients to propose procurement solutions aligned with production needs.
- Represent and promote Patek Philippe’s values and standards with suppliers and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of purchasing and/or supply experience in an industrial environment; experience in watchmaking or luxury goods is a strong asset.
- Solid understanding of logistics and material flows.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience managing tenders and supplier selection.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; diplomacy and stakeholder management.
- Analytical mindset, rigor, result orientation and ability to develop long‑term supplier partnerships.

3–5 years of procurement/purchasing or supply experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment; prior exposure to watchmaking or luxury goods sourcing is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or an equivalent qualification.
