Maison Margiela, Paris — Wholesale Trade Marketing Manager to drive international sell-out performance and partner activation strategies.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy trade marketing plans aligned with global Maison strategy, incorporating physical and digital visibility, commercial activations, and sell-out initiatives across wholesale partnerships
- Identify and advance point-of-sale animations, digital campaigns, product promotions, and merchandising opportunities with wholesale partners
- Coordinate headquarters and regional teams to ensure consistency and efficiency of initiatives across all channels
- Measure return on investment of trade marketing actions and identify optimization levers
- Adapt plans to market trends, competitive initiatives, and customer feedback
- Consolidate local trade marketing plans including clienteling, CRM, seasonal window displays, training programs, commercial challenges, and visual merchandising monitoring
- Track sell-out and inventory levels with regional wholesale teams to identify replenishment opportunities and ensure availability of permanent collections and NOOS references
- Conduct competitive intelligence on wholesale strategies and trade marketing activations across key markets
- Collect qualitative feedback from regional teams and strategic partners to identify emerging needs and development opportunities
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from regional wholesale teams to formulate operational and strategic recommendations
- Produce monthly reporting on key EMEA and international accounts, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
- Monitor sell-through indicators and alert commercial teams to required actions
- Prepare quarterly franchisee business reviews integrating trend analysis and assortment performance evaluation
- Analyze sell-in results following sales campaigns and present key findings to leadership
- Evaluate international assortment performance and consolidate market learnings to guide category decisions and purchasing
- Structure exchanges between field teams and Merchandising headquarters to translate sell-out results into assortment recommendations
- Maintain global distribution mapping and NAOF documentation to identify development zones and prospecting opportunities
- Document market visit reports and competitive intelligence summaries to inform commercial strategy and distribution decisions
- Administer wholesale partner database and ensure data reliability and communication fluidity
- Coordinate partner communications including recommended retail pricing, markdown calendars, visual merchandising guidance, campaign materials, and press releases in accordance with Maison standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in trade marketing or wholesale commercial development, ideally within fashion or luxury sector in international environment
- Prior experience as a Wholesale Coordinator is valued
- Strong knowledge of wholesale and franchisee networks and activation levers for sell-out development
- Solid analytical mindset with ability to translate commercial data into concrete recommendations
- Advanced proficiency with Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint for clear and structured presentations
- Comfort coordinating cross-functional projects and uniting regional teams and partners around shared objectives
- Initiative, rigor, and autonomy with strong prioritization and results orientation
- Fluent English; French or mastery of additional languages is a real asset

Experience
Minimum 3 years in trade marketing or wholesale commercial development, preferably within the fashion or luxury sector in an international context. Prior experience as a Wholesale Coordinator is advantageous.
