Maison Margiela internship in Paris: Wholesale & Retail Operations Assistant, 6-month paid position supporting European B2B and store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate wholesale sales campaigns, including client communications, appointment scheduling, and team agenda management
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and distribution potential mapping to support commercial development
- Contribute to monthly performance reporting with KPI analysis and key partner reviews
- Support sales administration including merchandise exchanges, returns management, and customer requests
- Consolidate, update, and document retail procedures for European boutique network
- Manage operational coordination tasks including uniform orders, delivery tracking, and store inventory anticipation
- Centralize boutique feedback and participate in retail tool improvements for point-of-sale and stock systems
- Support logistics and IT initiatives including inventory management, pricing, delivery planning, and systems testing
- Track invoices and manage external partner payments
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school, university degree programme in economics or management or equivalent
- First experience in retail or wholesale environments (preferred)
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for analysis, reporting, and data visualization
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
- Recognized for rigorous attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking capability
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Experience
First experience in retail or wholesale operations is advantageous; exposure to commercial or administrative environments within fashion, luxury goods, or consumer sectors is valued.
Education
Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in business administration, commerce, economics, management, or equivalent university programme.
