OTB is hiring a Team Leader for its Bijenkorf Utrecht concession. Lead a retail team, drive sales and deliver luxury client experiences in Utrecht.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the in-store team on the Bijenkorf Utrecht concession to deliver outstanding client service and achieve sales targets.
- Coach, develop and appraise sales staff; create daily briefings and maintain high standards of product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Drive visual merchandising and floor presentation to brand standards, coordinating with store and brand visual teams for seasonal resets.
- Manage stock flow, replenishment and stockroom organisation; oversee stock counts and communicate inventory issues to brand operations.
- Ensure flawless customer experience through personalised clientelling, conflict resolution and after-sales follow-up.
- Handle routine administrative duties including cash handling procedures, shift scheduling, sales reporting and liaison with Bijenkorf management.
- Act as the brand ambassador on-site, representing OTB’s house codes and ensuring compliance with operational and loss-prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail, preferably within luxury, premium or department store concessions.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing sales teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership presence and the ability to coach a diverse team.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and peak trading periods.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.
Skills
Experience
Typically requires at least 2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience in retail, ideally within luxury, fashion or premium department store environments. Experience working on concession operations or within multi-brand retail is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education completed; vocational training in retail, sales or business administration is preferred but not mandatory.
