Maison Margiela (OTB) seeks a Store Manager in Vancouver to lead boutique operations, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily boutique operations to achieve sales targets, margin and KPI objectives while upholding Maison Margiela’s brand standards and visual identity.
  • Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing sales team; set individual targets, conduct performance reviews and deliver ongoing training in clienteling and product knowledge.
  • Drive exceptional client experiences through proactive clienteling, VIP service, private appointments and after-sales follow-up to build long-term loyalty.
  • Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain store presentation to reflect seasonal campaigns and Maison Margiela’s aesthetic.
  • Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, receipting and seasonal assortments in partnership with wholesale/merchandising teams.
  • Oversee POS operations, cash handling, loss prevention measures and compliance with local regulatory and company policies.
  • Produce regular sales and operational reports, analyze performance data and translate insights into corrective action and local marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional management, marketing and CRM teams on local events, product launches and client acquisition programmes.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience managing a boutique or retail store in the luxury fashion sector.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales and KPI targets, with strong commercial acumen and P&L understanding.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships and lead a service-driven team.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, stock control and operational compliance.
  • Right to work in Canada and flexibility to work weekends and retail hours as required.
