Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the in-store team to drive commercial performance while maintaining exceptional client service standards.
- Deliver personalised, high-end client experiences and cultivate long-term relationships with an international and discerning clientele.
- Define and implement commercial strategies to maximise sales, margin and store profitability.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including stock control, visual merchandising and adherence to Maison procedures and standards.
- Recruit, train and mentor store staff to strengthen product knowledge, selling skills and employee engagement.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform operational and strategic decisions.
- Act as an ambassador for the brand, embodying and promoting Maison Margiela’s values and identity.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience managing a retail store, preferably within fashion or luxury.
- Proven leadership with a strong commercial orientation and focus on customer service excellence.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, able to build trust with clients and teams.
- Fluent in French and English.
Skills
Experience
At least 5 years of progressive retail management experience, ideally within luxury fashion or premium retail; demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets, managing teams and operating within a high-volume department store or concession environment is advantageous.
Education
Diploma or degree in business, retail management, hospitality or a related field preferred; equivalent professional retail experience accepted.
