Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming deliveries in strict accordance with group receiving procedures.
  • Inspect and verify product quality and conformity upon receipt, escalating non-conformities as required.
  • Prepare and manage inter-store transfers and returns of collections following internal protocols.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliations to guarantee stock accuracy and analyse discrepancies.
  • Propose and implement corrective action plans to reduce unknown stock variances and improve shrinkage control.
  • Organise reserve storage to optimise replenishment flow, maintain cleanliness and order, and facilitate efficient back-of-house operations.
  • Monitor stock rotation and turnover in-store to anticipate replenishment needs and support merchandising teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of store performance indicators and inventory KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Proven, significant experience in stock management within retail, ideally in premium or luxury environments.
  • Strong commercial sensibility with an orientation to results and operational excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to coordinate with sales, visual merchandising and logistics teams.
  • High attention to detail, methodical approach and strong organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with retail stock procedures and basic inventory controls.

Experience

Significant, demonstrable experience in retail inventory or stockroom operations, preferably gained in a premium or luxury retail environment; experience must include receiving, cycle counting and managing transfers/returns.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, retail or supply-chain operations preferred.
