OTB — Stock Keeper role in Paris (GL Haussmann): manage stockroom operations, inventory control and goods receiving for a luxury retail concession.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and process incoming merchandise deliveries; verify quantities, SKU numbers and condition against delivery documentation.
- Maintain accurate stock records through regular cycle counts and reconciliations; report and investigate discrepancies promptly.
- Organise and maintain the stockroom to luxury retail standards, ensuring accessibility, correct labelling and rotation of seasonal stock.
- Prepare and stage merchandise for sales floor replenishment and visual merchandising teams according to store planograms and priorities.
- Coordinate outbound transfers and returns with logistics partners and internal teams, ensuring correct documentation and traceability.
- Support loss-prevention measures by enforcing stock-control procedures and assisting with inventory audits.
- Assist the sales floor team during peak periods with stock pulls, order fulfilment and back-of-house tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail stockroom, warehouse or inventory role — experience within fashion or luxury retail preferred.
- Strong numerical aptitude with proven accuracy in counting and record-keeping.
- High level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to stock organisation and documentation.
- Physical ability to handle repetitive lifting, standing for extended periods and moving merchandise safely.
- Availability for flexible retail hours including weekends and peak trading periods.
- Right to work in France and fluency in the language required for on-site communication (formal language requirements not specified).
Skills
Experience
Entry-level to 1–2 years of practical experience in retail stock operations, warehouse or logistics. Prior exposure to fashion or premium retail environments is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in logistics, supply-chain or retail operations is desirable but not mandatory.
