OTB seeks a Showroom Intern in Milan to support showroom operations, sample management and buyer/press appointments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily showroom operations including visitor reception, appointment coordination and calendar management for buyers, press and stylists.
- Prepare and maintain sample inventory: tag, steam/prepare garments, compile look books and manage sample loan/return procedures.
- Maintain showroom databases and tracking tools (appointment logs, sample status, inventory records) and ensure accurate documentation.
- Coordinate internal communication with sales, PR and production teams to prepare for visits, showings and deliveries.
- Assist with shipping logistics for samples and showroom materials, liaising with couriers and internal logistics teams as required.
- Support the creation and distribution of showroom materials — lookbooks, line sheets and press packs — and help manage on-site styling needs.
- Perform general administrative duties including inbox management, expense reports and basic event support for showroom events or presentations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in fashion, communications, marketing or a related discipline.
- Previous internship or retail/showroom experience in fashion, luxury goods, PR or wholesale is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Professional presentation and polished client-facing manner appropriate for buyer and press interactions.
- High level of discretion and respect for confidentiality when handling pre-production samples and proprietary materials.
- Availability to work flexible hours during peak trade show or sample weeks; ability to stand and move samples for extended periods.

Internship-level role; candidates should be current students or recent graduates with prior internships or retail/showroom exposure preferred but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolment in or recent completion of a bachelor's degree in fashion, communications, marketing, business or a related field.
