OTB | Maison Margiela seeks a Selling Supervisor in Vancouver to lead boutique sales, clienteling and visual standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate the boutique sales team to deliver exceptional client experiences and meet or exceed sales KPIs and conversion targets.
- Drive VIP clienteling and relationship management, ensuring personalised service, follow-up and retention of high-value customers.
- Manage daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS oversight and basic financial reconciliation.
- Maintain merchandising and visual displays to Maison Margiela brand standards; coordinate stock replenishment, markdowns and transfers with headquarters.
- Conduct regular training, performance reviews and on-the-floor coaching to develop selling skills and product knowledge across the team.
- Ensure compliance with loss-prevention policies, health & safety regulations and company procedures while safeguarding product integrity.
- Support the Store Manager with local marketing initiatives, events and cross-functional communication to optimise store performance.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail, ideally within a luxury fashion or premium apparel/leather context.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Exceptional client-facing skills with strong aptitude for personalised clienteling and VIP service.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Strong numeracy and organisational skills; experienced in cash handling and basic store financial processes.
- Flexible availability to work weekends, late shifts and retail peak periods.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of progressive retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory or team-lead role within luxury or high-end retail environments. Proven experience driving sales and developing client relationships is required.
Education
Secondary education required; diploma or certificate in retail management, fashion business or related field preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
