OTB seeks a Retail Trainer (Europe) based in Milan — lead retail training, coaching and roll‑outs across European stores.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, deliver and continuously refine retail training programmes for European stores, ensuring alignment with brand standards and commercial objectives.
- Coach store teams and managers through in‑person workshops, role‑plays and on‑the‑job sessions to improve selling skills, product knowledge and client experience.
- Lead roll‑outs of seasonal concepts, product launches and service protocols across multiple markets; adapt materials for local languages and cultural contexts.
- Develop training collateral including facilitator guides, e‑learning modules, assessments and quick‑reference tools.
- Measure training effectiveness using retail KPIs (sales conversion, average transaction value, retention) and feedback; produce regular reports for senior stakeholders.
- Manage training calendar and logistics across markets; coordinate with HR, retail ops, merchandising and marketing to prioritise initiatives.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for retail best practice and change management, driving adoption through coaching and follow‑up.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in retail training or learning & development within fashion, luxury or premium retail environments.
- Experience managing multi‑market training roll‑outs and adapting content to local contexts.
- Strong facilitation skills and experience delivering classroom and in‑store coaching.
- Excellent stakeholder management: ability to influence store leadership and cross‑functional partners.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Europe.
Skills
Experience
Typically 4–7 years of progressive experience in retail learning & development or retail operations, with demonstrable experience leading training programmes across multiple European markets and a history of improving store performance through people development.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, human resources, education, fashion or a related discipline preferred.

This position is based in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
