The Retail Merchandising Intern joins the Central Merchandising department to support analysis and data management for merchandising and collection development. The internship is for six months, starting in early January.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Central Merchandising team with analysis and data management to support the Merchandising department and define and develop collections.
- Analyze performance by product and store; prepare weekly, monthly, and seasonal sell-through reports; propose corrective actions and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare analyses and reports on sales data from WW Retail stores.
- Support coordination of master order activities and key assortments by region and channel in buying tools and systems before and during the showroom.
- Prepare replenishment analyses and reorder proposals for the different regions and markets.
- Maintain an ongoing exchange with regional teams on product needs and competitor offers through regular follow-up.
- Compile and consolidate input from regions and channels on business trends.
- Provide feedback to Central Merchandising and Collection Merchandising teams to adapt the offer to market needs.
- Coordinate planned actions with Business Planning.
- Work on the delivery calendar for key items and follow up.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at Bac +4/5 level at a business school or equivalent.
- Passion for and sensitivity to the luxury sector.
- Previous experience in Retail Merchandising or Buying Assistant roles is a plus.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen.
- Team-oriented attitude and flexibility.
- Problem-solving ability, precision, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in the Office suite, particularly Excel; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- Fluency in French and English.
