OTB Group (Brave Kid) seeks a Quality Control Specialist in Marostica, Italy — responsible for garment industrialisation, pre‑production approval and supplier inspections.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage industrialisation of sample garments: analyse prototypes and produce detailed technical specification sheets for suppliers with clear technical comments.
  • Collaborate continuously with R&D to identify and prevent production issues and to optimise product quality and manufacturing yield.
  • Lead pre‑production approval (PPS) processes, ensuring aesthetic, technical and quality standards are met before mass production.
  • Conduct field quality inspections at supplier sites across the Mediterranean and Far East to verify in‑line production and enforce company standards.
  • Oversee finished‑goods inspections in warehouse, coordinate external repairs (pressing/finishing) and monitor chemical testing to guarantee product safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent technical qualification from an institute specialising in apparel/fashion technology.
  • Minimum 4–5 years' experience in a comparable quality control role within established fashion or apparel manufacturers/brands.
  • Deep technical knowledge of woven (navetta) and knit (maglieria) categories and their manufacturing processes.
  • Strong written and spoken English for regular interaction with overseas suppliers.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with PLM Link considered a significant plus.
  • Willingness and availability for international travel (approx. 7–8 trips per year, 4–5 days each), primarily to Tunisia, Turkey, Portugal, Greece, with potential trips to China/India/Bangladesh.

Experience
