Role & Responsibilities
- Provide executive and fiduciary leadership for capital expenditure budgets, ensuring compliance with internal governance, controls and approval processes.
- Manage project lifecycle from schematic and design development through construction documents, including drawing reviews, milestone page turns and deliverable control.
- Establish competitive bidding processes, administer contracts, build bid books and cost plans, issue purchase orders and maintain budget history and forecasts.
- Oversee on‑site construction activities, conduct weekly OAC meetings, document actions, and perform regular site visits throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate project timelines, risks and business impacts to cross‑functional stakeholders—Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations, franchisees and executive leadership.
- Drive capital accountability, forecast savings and efficiencies, secure approvals for spend and enforce project related legal and financial controls.
- Review and negotiate landlord work letters, conduct initial site reviews and ensure key dates and lease documents are met.
- Lead post‑opening audits with Interior Design and Store Planning to identify improvements in design, materials, suppliers and delivery processes.
- Identify regional/local resources and suppliers to optimize cost and schedule; manage relationships with architects, millworkers, general contractors and vendors.
- Close out projects within 90 days of store opening for all vendors and suppliers and adapt project lifecycles to accelerate openings when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Construction Project Management (or equivalent).
- 3–4+ years of demonstrable experience in store planning, retail design or construction project management.
- Proven experience collaborating with vendors and consultants in the North American market, including Mexico.
- Strong communication, presentation and managerial skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ADA codes and applicable accessibility regulations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience with contract administration and vendor assessment.
- High level of analytical aptitude and conceptual creative problem‑solving.

Experience
Minimum 3–4 years of experience managing store planning, retail design or construction projects, with hands‑on oversight of budgets, vendors and on‑site construction in the North American market (including Mexico). Experience delivering projects on accelerated timelines and performing post‑opening audits is required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Construction Project Management (or closely related discipline).

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to USD 125,000 per annum.
