OTB seeks a Production Planner (Bijoux) in Milan, Italy — production planning role for jewellery/accessories within the OTB fashion group.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the production master schedule for bijoux and accessory ranges, ensuring alignment with commercial launch dates and seasonal calendars.
  • Translate collection bills of materials and technical packs into detailed production orders and capacity plans for internal ateliers and external suppliers.
  • Coordinate with sourcing, product development, quality and purchasing teams to confirm lead-times, material availability and component procurement.
  • Monitor supplier performance and production progress, proactively escalating risks to on-time delivery and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Manage inventory buffers and safety stock for critical components, balancing service levels with working capital targets.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate production data in ERP/PLM systems; produce regular KPIs and status reports (OTD, lead time variance, backlog).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes, capacity utilisation and supplier scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience planning small-batch jewellery or accessories production in a fashion or luxury environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple collections and competing priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with experience producing and interpreting production KPIs and reports.
  • Familiarity with production processes for bijoux, including component sourcing and artisanal/manufacturing constraints.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (product, sourcing, quality, purchasing) and external suppliers.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, manufacturing, business administration or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
