Maison Margiela seeks Product Coordinator in Paris to support collection development, sample management, and studio coordination across all collection cycles.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate model bookings and fitting schedules, ensuring appropriate models and samples are available at each development stage
  • Act as key liaison between Studio and Atelier, facilitating clear communication and rigorous follow-up throughout product development
  • Attend fittings, document detailed notes, and ensure all feedback and development points are accurately communicated and tracked
  • Maintain and update collection line plans, boards, and sketches across all relevant tools and documents, guaranteeing consistency and accuracy
  • Track and manage box plans in close collaboration with Design and Merchandising teams, following up on modifications and ensuring collection alignment with priorities
  • Support fabric-to-sketch processes by maintaining fabric count overviews, updating fabric cards, and ensuring materials are properly documented and tracked
  • Manage tracking and archiving of rental pieces and collection samples, maintaining accurate records and timely returns
  • Coordinate and monitor sample shipments between Studio, Ateliers, suppliers, and partners
  • Support Showroom activities including sample preparation, organization, and collection set-up
  • Prepare and maintain looks lists throughout collection finalization, ensuring final collection is accurately reflected in all documentation
  • Coordinate communication and product development with Paris-based Ateliers (internal and external), ensuring follow-up on deadlines, samples, and technical developments
  • Oversee sample management throughout the collection cycle, ensuring samples are correctly identified, tracked, prioritized, and available when needed
  • Contribute to overall Studio organization and efficiency by anticipating needs, following up on open points, and ensuring effective information flow across teams

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Fashion, Product Development, Fashion Management, or related discipline
  • Previous experience in product coordination, collection coordination, studio, or product development roles within luxury fashion
  • Strong understanding of fashion collection development processes from initial design through fabric development, fittings, sampling, and finalization
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple products, samples, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong ability to coordinate between Design, Studio, Atelier, Merchandising, and internal and external production partners
  • Experience managing samples, shipments, rentals, archives, and product tracking throughout the collection cycle
  • Proficiency maintaining collection tools and documentation including line plans, boards, sketches, fabric cards, box plans, and looks lists
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and consistency of product information across multiple platforms and teams
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills with ability to anticipate needs and ensure actions are clearly communicated and completed
  • Previous experience working with Paris-based ateliers and external suppliers is a strong advantage

Experience

Previous experience in a product coordination, collection coordination, studio, or product development role within the luxury fashion sector is required. Familiarity with Paris-based ateliers and external supplier networks is advantageous.

Education
