OTB / Maison Margiela seeks an Operations Associate in Vancouver to manage inventory, logistics and store operations for its retail location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage store inventory lifecycle: receiving, tagging, stock reconciliation and periodic counts to ensure accurate on-hand levels.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with local carriers, distribution centres and brand warehouses to guarantee timely replenishment.
- Operate and maintain point-of-sale and inventory systems, preparing daily and weekly stock, sales and replenishment reports for store leadership.
- Support visual merchandising and floor readiness by organising stock transfers, preparing merchandise for display and ensuring brand standards are respected.
- Partner with retail managers and the wider operations team to implement loss-prevention procedures and address shrinkage or discrepancies.
- Process paperwork for returns, exchanges and vendor claims; liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery or quality issues.
- Contribute to local store projects (receipts, relocations, fittings, events) and ad-hoc operational initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Provide occasional front-line support to sales staff during peak periods, maintaining client service standards when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in retail operations, stock control or logistics; prior exposure to luxury or premium fashion retail strongly preferred.
- Proven track record managing inventory processes and conducting stock reconciliations in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing operational tasks.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills; comfortable liaising with internal teams, carriers and external vendors.
- Legal right to work in Canada and availability to work retail hours including weekends and occasional extended hours for events or deliveries.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary qualification in business, logistics or retail management preferred.
