Operations Associate (PT) at Maison Margiela, Miami Design District. $18–$19/hr. Inventory and stock management role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process all inventory and stock transactions accurately and on a timely basis to support store sales productivity and customer service
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of store goals and ensure alignment with retail policies and procedures
- Assure merchandise is represented on the sales floor according to company standards and communicate new deliveries to the store team
- Examine and inspect store stock for defects and report damages to management
- Complete weekly cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and submit adjustments in a timely manner
- Monitor consignment and negative reports daily; process incoming and outgoing shipments via Beststore/RPro and FedEx/UPS
- Verify that merchandise has been received and handled with care within 24 hours
- Report and follow up with IT and corporate office on all unresolved service tickets related to store equipment and software
- Follow all store opening and closing procedures and maintain a clean, organized stockroom at all times
- Monitor and process orders via the online platform daily
- Display leadership qualities by helping develop newly acquired staff and ensuring they understand job requirements, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous retail customer service experience in the luxury market
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours in a workday
- Capacity for repetitive and regular lifting of up to 70 lbs
- Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and ladders
- Required vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Previous retail customer service experience in the luxury market. Preferred: 3+ years in high-volume stock or operations roles within fashion retail.
