Operations Associate (Full-Time) at Maison Margiela in Miami Design District—inventory, stockroom and retail operations role with USD 18–20/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process all inventory and stock transactions accurately and on a timely basis to support store sales productivity
- Maintain knowledge of store goals and retail policies, communicating proactively with the management team
- Receive, verify and handle incoming and outgoing shipments via company systems and logistics partners within 24 hours
- Complete weekly cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies, submitting adjustments to the corporate office
- Monitor consignment reports and daily online orders, flagging any service issues to IT and corporate office
- Maintain the stockroom in a clean, organized state, shifting merchandise by category (men's and women's) for optimal sales colleague accessibility
- Inspect store stock for defects and report damages immediately to management
- Follow all store opening and closing procedures and daily cleaning protocols to company standards
- Mentor newly hired staff on job requirements, policies and procedures, demonstrating leadership qualities
- Display a positive, professional and customer-centric attitude whilst supporting the store team
Qualifications
- Previous retail customer service experience in the luxury market
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours per workday
- Capable of repetitive lifting of up to 70 lbs
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders regularly
- Proficiency in close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment

Experience
Preferred 3+ years in a high-volume stock or operations role for a fashion retailer, though not required for entry-level candidates with strong retail customer service experience in the luxury market.
Education
