Maison Margiela Operations Associate in Honolulu, HI – $19–$21/hr. Luxury retail inventory and stockroom management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process all inventory and stock transactions accurately and promptly to support store sales goals
- Receive, verify, and process incoming and outgoing shipments via BestStore/RPro and FedEx/UPS within 24 hours
- Perform weekly cycle counts and monthly inventory reconciliation, reporting discrepancies to management
- Maintain and organize stockroom layout according to gender-specific merchandise categories, ensuring accessibility for sales staff
- Monitor consignment inventory and negative reports on a daily basis
- Inspect store stock for defects and report damages to management
- Ensure merchandise is displayed on sales floor according to company standards and update team on new deliveries
- Communicate product stock level issues and equipment service tickets to management and corporate office
- Execute daily and weekly cleaning procedures to maintain department standards
- Assist in training newly hired staff on job requirements, policies, and procedures
- Follow all store opening and closing procedures
- Monitor and process online platform orders daily
Qualifications
- Previous retail customer service experience in the luxury market
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours per workday
- Capacity for repetitive lifting of up to 70 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- Required vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Previous retail customer service experience in a luxury market environment. Three or more years in a high-volume stock or operations role for a fashion retailer is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
