Liability Cycle Accountant at OTB Spa in Breganze, Italy – manage multi-country payables and lead AP process automation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process and record supplier invoices while ensuring correct application of fiscal regulations and VAT deductibility across European countries including Germany, France, Belgium, the UK, Spain, and the Netherlands
- Review and analyse fiscal clauses in contracts and manage documentation related to tax treaties and double-taxation conventions
- Monitor and control supplier ledger accounts and reconcile annual provisions and reserve accounts
- Prepare accruals for monthly management closures and annual financial statement close
- Support business operations by analysing new payment flows and specific operational scenarios
- Identify process simplification, standardization, and automation opportunities within Accounts Payable workflows
- Collaborate on the development and testing of digital solutions and generative AI applications for accounts payable processes
- Participate in continuous improvement projects with innovative proposals and result monitoring
Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting (Ragioneria) or bachelor's degree in Economics
- Minimum five years of experience in accounts payable or similar accounting role
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Strong understanding of VAT and international fiscal regulations
- Proficiency in English
- Analytical capabilities to identify process inefficiencies and propose concrete solutions
- Demonstrated interest in digital innovation, automation, and artificial intelligence applications in finance
- Data analysis mindset with ability to translate operational requirements into improvement opportunities
Skills
Experience
Minimum five years in a comparable role managing accounts payable, invoice processing, and multi-jurisdictional fiscal compliance. Experience with process improvement, digitalization, or administrative process automation is preferred.
Education
Diploma in Accounting (Ragioneria) or bachelor's degree in Economics.

This position is based in Breganze, Veneto, Italy, within easy reach of Vicenza.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 27,000 to EUR 32,000 per annum.
