Maison Margiela (OTB) seeks a Junior Area Manager MM6 in Milan to drive multi‑store sales, coaching and brand standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales and margin performance across a cluster of MM6 stores, translating regional targets into actionable store objectives.
- Coach, develop and motivate store managers and retail teams through regular visits, performance reviews and targeted training initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse retail KPIs (sales, conversion, average transaction value, stock turn) and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure consistent execution of brand standards in merchandising, visual presentation and client experience across the area.
- Coordinate inventory planning and allocation with merchandising and logistics to optimise stock levels and product flow.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding for store leadership roles within the area in collaboration with HR.
- Manage regular reporting to the Regional/Area Director, including dashboards, market feedback and competitor observation.
- Support local marketing, events and clienteling initiatives to drive traffic, retention and VIP development.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–4 years of progressive retail experience with responsibility for multiple stores or as a store manager, preferably within contemporary or luxury fashion.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and managing P&L drivers at store or area level.
- Strong leadership presence with demonstrated ability to coach managers and build high‑performing teams.
- Excellent commercial acumen and comfort working with retail KPIs and reporting tools.
- Flexibility to travel frequently within the assigned territory and to work occasional weekends or evenings for store visits and events.
- Professional proficiency in English; additional proficiency in the local market language is advantageous.

Experience
2–4 years of retail management experience with multi‑site responsibility, ideally within luxury or contemporary fashion; demonstrable success in meeting sales targets and leading store managers.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, retail management, fashion merchandising or a related field is preferred.
