OTB Spa seeks a General Accountant for Breganze, Italy headquarters. Manage financial closing, tax compliance, and accounting operations. €30,000–€35,000 annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Record general ledger entries and ensure accurate financial posting
- Manage monthly and annual financial closures in accordance with group procedures
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and balance sheet items
- Execute asset accounting and fixed asset management tasks
- Verify payroll cost allocation, reconcile F24 tax forms with payroll reports, and validate labor cost accounting
- Prepare financial statement documentation for Italian group companies
- Liaise with administrative and financial contacts across European and Italian group entities
- Support the accounting team on special projects and initiatives
- Prepare and reconcile VAT and Intrastat reports for European group companies
- Coordinate with external tax advisors on indirect tax compliance for European operations
- Calculate and process periodic VAT settlements and prepare withholding tax forms for Italian entities
- Complete and file statutory tax declarations including annual income tax, IRAP, VAT, and Modello 770 forms
- Calculate current, deferred, and anticipated tax provisions (IRES and IRAP) for Italian group companies
Qualifications
- Diploma in Administration, Finance and Marketing, or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role within a medium-to-large structured organization
- Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
- Team collaboration mindset and collaborative working style
- Proactive initiative and independent work ethic
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus

Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar general accounting or financial reporting role within a medium-to-large organization, with demonstrated competency in closing processes, tax compliance, and payroll administration.
Education
Diploma in Administration, Finance and Marketing, or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related economic disciplines.

This position is based in Breganze, Veneto, Italy, within easy reach of Vicenza.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 30,000 to EUR 35,000 per annum.
