Calzaturificio Stephen (OTB Group) seeks a Footwear Pre‑Assembly Operator in Pianezze, Italy — pre‑assembly role ensuring luxury shoe quality.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare uppers and components for the mounting phase, ensuring parts are cut, shaped and positioned to specification.
- Apply structural reinforcements such as counters and toe puffs with precision.
- Perform gluing and brushing (incollaggio e cardatura) of materials to achieve consistent adhesion and surface finish.
- Operate and maintain pre‑assembly machinery and hand tools used in the preparation phase.
- Execute visual and dimensional quality checks on components during preliminary stages.
- Coordinate closely with mounting and finishing departments to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to production timing and standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pre‑assembly or similar functions within the footwear or leather goods sector.
