OTB Korea seeks a Finance Controlling Specialist in Seoul — responsible for financial controlling, reporting and forecasting for the Korea entity.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead month‑end and quarter‑end controlling activities for the Korea entity, ensuring accurate and timely financial close.
- Prepare management reporting, variance analysis and KPI dashboards for regional and local leadership.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and rolling‑forecast processes in coordination with commercial, wholesale and retail teams.
- Monitor P&L, balance sheet and cash flow movements; recommend corrective actions and margin improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies and documentary evidence to support statutory and management reporting.
- Support statutory audits, tax filings and internal reviews by preparing schedules and ad‑hoc analyses.
- Collaborate with IT and global finance teams on ERP (SAP) configurations, process improvements and automation projects.
- Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support pricing, allocation and commercial decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification preferred (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent local certification.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls (IFRS experience advantageous).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesise complex financial data into actionable insights.
- High level of professional integrity and attention to detail, with experience supporting audits and compliance.

Typically 3–5 years in controlling, financial planning & analysis or accounting roles, ideally within retail, fashion or consumer goods and exposure to multinational reporting environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; postgraduate or professional accounting certification preferred.
