Maison Margiela (OTB) in Paris seeks an Events Assistant Intern to support client and PR events, logistics and on-site operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end organisation of client, press and trade events, including product launches, private previews, trunk shows and in-store activations.
  • Coordinate logistics: venue booking, vendor and supplier liaison, production schedules, technical riders and on-site setup.
  • Manage guest lists, RSVPs and seating plans; handle invitations, confirmations and check‑in on event days.
  • Prepare event materials — itineraries, guest packs, signage and presentation decks — and assist with packing and returns.
  • Provide on-site operational support during events (front-of-house, hospitality, artist/guest liaison) and ensure brand presentation standards are met.
  • Collaborate with PR, retail and visual teams to align event concept, styling and communications; assist with post-event reporting and expense reconciliation.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in events, marketing, communications, hospitality or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated organisational rigour with the ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional presentation appropriate to a luxury environment.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends for event coverage.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential guest/client information.
