OTB seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Milan — lead retail operations, coach teams and deliver luxury client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and operational KPIs while maintaining luxury service standards across every client interaction.
- Lead, coach and develop sales staff; plan rotas, oversee performance reviews and conduct on-floor training to elevate product knowledge and selling skills.
- Deliver an exceptional clienteling programme, ensuring personalised service, follow-up, and CRM data quality to maximise repeat business.
- Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS reconciliation and compliance with loss-prevention policies.
- Maintain merchandising and visual standards to brand directives; coordinate stock replenishment, transfers and in-store floor sets with the buying and VM teams.
- Analyse sales reports and operational metrics to identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
- Coordinate local store marketing and events; act as a confident brand ambassador at client appointments and public-facing occasions.
- Ensure adherence to health & safety, legal and corporate policies; liaise with regional management on administrative and workforce matters.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership aptitude with the ability to motivate a retail team and deliver consistent commercial results.
- Strong customer service orientation and refined interpersonal manner appropriate to luxury clientele.
- Sound numerical literacy with experience using sales reports to drive decisions and remedial actions.
- Reliable organisational skills, attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple operational tasks under pressure.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods; willingness to travel locally as required.
