OTB is hiring a Cyber Security Specialist in Milan, Italy to lead threat detection, incident response and vulnerability management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate and tune security monitoring and detection capabilities (SIEM) to identify and prioritise threats across on‑premises and cloud environments.
- Lead incident response investigations, including containment, root‑cause analysis, remediation guidance and post‑incident reporting.
- Manage vulnerability assessment and remediation workflows, coordinating with IT, DevOps and business teams to reduce exposure.
- Design, implement and maintain security controls and architectures for networks, endpoints, identity and cloud platforms.
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration tests and threat modelling to inform risk mitigation and roadmap prioritisation.
- Support compliance activities and security governance, including controls mapping to relevant frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Author and maintain security documentation: playbooks, standards, runbooks and technical risk assessments.
- Provide security guidance and training to technical teams and business stakeholders; liaise with external vendors and auditors as required.
Qualifications
- Professional certification preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent).
- Demonstrable hands‑on experience with security monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management in enterprise environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of network, endpoint and cloud security controls and architectures.
- Proven ability to translate technical risk into pragmatic remediation plans and business‑facing recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience producing technical reports and executive summaries.

Experience
Typically 3–6 years of progressive information security experience, including operational incident response and hands‑on work with enterprise security tooling across networks, endpoints and cloud platforms.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
