OTB / Maison Margiela seeks a Client Advisor in Vancouver — deliver exceptional luxury client service, drive sales and manage boutique operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, personalised client experience consistent with Maison Margiela’s brand standards; build and maintain long‑term client relationships through proactive clienteling.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling, product storytelling and cross‑selling.
- Manage daily boutique operations including point‑of‑sale transactions, returns/exchanges, cash handling and accurate record keeping.
- Maintain visual merchandising and presentation standards; receive, unpack and process new merchandise and ensure correct tagging and pricing.
- Actively use CRM and client databases to log interactions, follow up on leads and coordinate private appointments and events.
- Support stock management and inventory counts; escalate replenishment needs and collaborate with store leadership on allocation.
- Represent the brand at in‑store events, trunk shows and client appointments; liaise with regional teams on local initiatives and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury or premium retail sales, with demonstrable commercial results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; polished professional presentation and high emotional intelligence.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and reliability when executing operational tasks.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods; ability to travel locally for client events when required.
- Legal right to work in Canada and familiarity with local retail legislation and customer service standards.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of progressive experience in luxury or premium retail environments; prior experience with designer fashion houses or mono‑brand boutiques is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, fashion, hospitality or sales is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
