Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised service to clients on the sales floor and during private appointments, reflecting the brand’s luxury positioning.
  • Achieve and contribute to store sales targets through proactive clienteling, upselling and relationship development.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across seasonal collections and communicate features, craftsmanship and brand story with authority.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale systems, process transactions accurately and manage cash handling and daily reconciliation according to store procedures.
  • Support merchandising standards and visual directives: ensure floor replenishment, correct labeling and attractive product presentation.
  • Use CRM and clienteling tools to record interactions, follow up on leads and cultivate repeat business.
  • Assist with stock management, receiving and returns, and adhere to loss‑prevention and compliance protocols.
  • Represent the brand at in‑store events and promotions; collaborate with the Selfridges store team to maximise client opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a client-facing role within luxury, premium or aspirational retail (department store experience advantageous).
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and executing clienteling strategies.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and peak retail hours; able to reliably fulfil a 14‑hour part‑time schedule.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished and professional demeanour.
  • Right to work in the UK.
