Maison Margiela (OTB) is hiring a Client Advisor at La Rinascente in Milan. Provide luxury client service, achieve sales targets, and represent the Maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised client service consistent with Maison Margiela's aesthetic and brand DNA, cultivating long-term client relationships.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling, outreach and in-person advisory selling within La Rinascente.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: greeting clients, styling consultations, product presentation, transactions and post-sale follow-up.
  • Maintain boutique standards for visual merchandising, product presentation and housekeeping in accordance with brand guidelines and department store requirements.
  • Use CRM and POS systems to record client profiles, track interactions and manage appointments and sales accurately.
  • Support stock management: receive, tag and replenish merchandise; conduct inventory controls and communicate replenishment needs to store management.
  • Collaborate closely with store and brand teams to execute launches, private appointments and in-store events.
  • Handle transactions, returns and client enquiries with discretion and strict adherence to cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail experience in luxury fashion or premium lifestyle brands (typically 1–3 years preferred).
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver high-touch client service and to develop repeat clientele.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with professional presentation and manner.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and CRM platforms; accuracy in sales administration and reporting.
  • Flexible availability to work retail shifts, including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
  • Fluency in presenting a curated product proposition and styling advice aligned with Maison Margiela's aesthetic.

Experience
