Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage clients with warmth, professionalism, and personalized attention, creating memorable luxury shopping experiences
- Provide expert product knowledge and tailored styling advice aligned with client preferences and needs
- Drive sales through consultative selling, strategic upselling, and cross-selling while maintaining the highest standards of client satisfaction
- Develop and maintain a personal client book, nurturing relationships through follow-up communications, event invitations, and bespoke styling sessions
- Anticipate client needs and proactively offer curated recommendations and product discoveries
- Uphold brand values, image, and standards consistently, serving as an ambassador for Maison Margiela's distinctive identity
- Stay informed of brand heritage, current collections, emerging trends, and competitive positioning within the luxury fashion landscape
- Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising align with brand guidelines and aesthetic standards
- Process transactions efficiently, manage POS system operations, and handle payment processing with discretion
- Manage inventory, oversee stock replenishment, and maintain exemplary product care standards
- Support back-office administrative functions and participate in visual merchandising initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail, high-end fashion, premium jewelry, watches, or luxury lifestyle brands
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage diverse clientele
- Sales-driven mindset with track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets
- Passion for delivering personalized, customer-centric luxury experiences
- Cultural awareness and demonstrated ability to interact respectfully with international clientele
- Collaborative team player with ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced retail environments
- Fluency in additional languages beyond Spanish (preferred qualification)
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in luxury retail environments, preferably within high-end fashion, accessories, jewelry, or premium lifestyle sectors. Demonstrated success in client engagement, relationship building, and sales achievement within a sophisticated retail setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in fashion, art history, business, or related disciplines is advantageous.
