Maison Margiela is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the team, elevate the client experience, drive sales, and oversee store operations at the Woodbury Commons Outlet. The role partners closely with the Store Manager on business strategy, team development, clienteling, and operational performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the team to deliver an elevated shopping experience while driving sales and operational excellence.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to implement business strategies, maintain brand integrity, and cultivate strong client relationships.
- Support the team in achieving individual and store sales targets.
- Communicate and track store sales and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing context and rationale for business results.
- Review store schedules weekly to ensure appropriate coverage and payroll management.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure the store achieves its expense budgets.
- Participate in store operations, including recruiting and training associates, coordinating store logistics, and working with the team to keep the store fully operational.
- Foster an inspiring environment for engagement and learning that empowers employees to realize their potential.
- Oversee recruitment, team development, and performance management.
- Deliver an elevated, personalized luxury experience to high-net-worth clientele.
- Build and maintain client relationships through CRM strategies and personalized follow-ups.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of luxury clientele, high-touch service, and clienteling techniques.
- Proven ability to drive sales and meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and retail POS software.
- Passion for luxury fashion, fine jewelry, watches, or lifestyle products.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts as needed.
- Financial management experience.
