OTB Spa seeks Assistant Merchandiser for Marni in New York. Analytical merchandising role focusing on assortment strategy and business growth.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive weekly sales analysis and performance tracking across assortment portfolio
- Identify market trends and growth opportunities to inform strategic merchandising decisions
- Manage assortment planning tools and maintain detailed documentation supporting full-cycle buying process
- Drive data-driven decisions for business optimization and financial performance
- Support full-cycle buying process from concept to execution, including line planning and assortment building
- Process markdown strategies and reorder recommendations based on performance metrics
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Digital, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams to maximize product visibility
- Partner with Retail teams on store-specific strategies and execution
- Process and track shipments and orders, following up on deliveries to ensure optimal in-store availability
- Support Global Merchandising initiatives and participate actively during market campaigns
- Develop and recommend strategic buying strategies aligned with brand positioning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience in Retail Buying or Merchandising
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with proactive problem-solving approach

Skills
Experience

Demonstrated background in analyzing market trends, managing assortment portfolios, and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
