Omega seeks a Visual Merchandising and Brand Image Manager for its France Marketing team to oversee brand presentation, merchandising, retail activations and events across boutiques and multibrand partners, in line with international standards. The role also manages image projects, suppliers and budgets, and requires regular travel within France and occasional work outside standard hours. Permanent contract (CDI).
Role & Responsibilities
- Safeguard Omega’s brand image and visual expression across its boutiques and multibrand partner locations in France.
- Visit retail and wholesale boutiques regularly to assess brand presentation and compliance with Omega guidelines.
- Merchandise window displays and sales areas.
- Train sales teams in merchandising and support them in implementing Omega merchandising standards.
- Support retail and wholesale points of sale with merchandising elements from Omega stock or custom-created items, communication materials and gifts, and manage their inventories.
- Manage renovation and boutique-opening projects through completion.
- Manage renovation and installation projects for SIS locations and corners through completion.
- Report regularly on Omega’s brand image and monitor competitors.
- Follow up on maintenance and upkeep needs related to the image of retail and wholesale boutiques.
- Develop visual activations across the retail and wholesale network, including defining locations, creating bespoke displays, selecting and briefing suppliers, and overseeing production, installation and quality.
- Follow the campaign calendar and Omega’s activities.
- Prepare campaign and activation reports.
- Propose new visual concepts and installations aligned with Omega’s identity, international guidelines and commercial objectives.
- Work with the wider team to develop and organise events in line with the international calendar and the market’s commercial and brand-image objectives, safeguarding Omega’s visual expression through concept proposals and recommendations, brand visuals, overall event styling, guest gifts, communications materials such as invitations, and furnishings, in accordance with international guidelines.
- Manage brand-image projects within partnerships, such as golf partnerships, and coordinate their operational rollout with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality visual expression of Omega at events.
- Negotiate and monitor project budgets under the role’s responsibility in coordination with Marketing management.
- Manage supplier relationships from selection through production monitoring and project delivery.
- Travel regularly across France to visit points of sale and partners.
- Work store hours and, when project or event requirements call for it, occasionally outside standard working hours.
Qualifications
- Degree from a business school, university or specialised programme at Bac+5 level.
- At least 3–5 years of successful experience in visual merchandising and brand-image project management, ideally complemented by event experience in a luxury or premium environment.
- Sensitivity to luxury codes; knowledge of the watchmaking sector is an advantage.
- Very good command of Pack Office, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
- Ability to read and interpret store-layout and fit-out plans.
- Creativity, attention to detail and a proactive, ideas-driven approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- Rigour, autonomy, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Strong project-coordination skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility and availability for regular travel within France.
- Fluent English is essential.
