OMEGA seeks Store Development Project Manager in Miami, FL to oversee luxury retail construction and wholesale design projects across North America and the Caribbean.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage store development and construction projects end-to-end for wholesale retail partners, maintaining alignment with global OMEGA brand standards and design protocols originating from headquarters
  • Lead high-touch client experiences with wholesale partners, systematically educating stakeholders on OMEGA brand expectations and facilitating proposal presentations on technical project aspects
  • Establish and maintain central communication channels between clients, vendors, general contractors, architects, OMEGA sales teams, and OMEGA headquarters, serving as the primary project leader and contact point
  • Review and verify accuracy of construction documents, ensuring compliance with brand and industry standards before implementation
  • Develop, manage, and monitor detailed project budgets and schedules; track on-time completion of all project milestones from initial budget through final closeout
  • Coordinate timelines for architects, vendors, and contractors; issue and evaluate RFPs, compare and level bids, and negotiate contractor and vendor agreements and change orders
  • Secure material and service deliveries; establish vendor performance standards and maintain oversight of vendor quality throughout project execution
  • Conduct regular site visits and supervise all construction installations, including off-hours work when project requirements dictate
  • Identify new vendors, assess pricing and operational efficiencies, and maintain an expanding vendor database alongside existing Swatch Group preferred suppliers
  • Travel domestically up to 40% as required by project portfolio coverage and site supervision needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent vocational certification)
  • Minimum 5+ years of direct luxury retail construction project management experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with luxury-level materials, finishes, furnishings, displays, and installation-grade equipment
  • Demonstrated expertise in retail development workflow processes and building department procedures in major US metropolitan areas
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools including Microsoft Project and Excel
  • Strong knowledge of retail construction methods, MEP systems, technical drawings, furniture assembly, installation, and graphic production
  • Proven negotiation skills with vendors and general contractors
  • Procurement and sourcing experience (preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented approach with daily follow-up orientation
  • Strong mobile communication capabilities and ability to manage office tasks remotely

Experience

Minimum 5 years of luxury retail construction project management, with direct accountability for multi-phase projects involving high-end materials, finishes, and retail-specific systems. Applicants should demonstrate autonomous capability in fast-paced environments, capacity to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously, and proven success balancing brand advocacy with pragmatic project delivery. Experience within the Swatch Group portfolio or comparable luxury watch and jewellery retail environments is highly advantageous.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field is required. Equivalent vocational certification in project management or construction administration may be considered.
