The Omega Sales Associate develops sales and brand presence at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, delivering a client experience aligned with the Maison’s standards while advising and retaining clients and maintaining the sales area. The role covers sales, after-sales service, clienteling, watch and display presentation, cash operations and merchandise administration; the source states a permanent contract (CDI).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome, advise and assist clients throughout the purchasing journey.
  • Make sales in-store, remotely and through specific sales initiatives.
  • Develop and retain the client base through personalised follow-up.
  • Provide after-sales service and handle client requests.
  • Manage, update and develop the client database.
  • Take part in client-retention and customer-communication initiatives.
  • Prepare mailings and client shipments.
  • Help install and refresh window displays.
  • Set, inspect and wind the watches on display.
  • Help dismantle and reorganise window displays.
  • Maintain the presentation of the sales area in line with brand standards.
  • Keep display windows, display furniture and sales counters clean, well maintained and presented to best effect.
  • Process payments in accordance with current procedures.
  • Help manage the cash float and related banking transactions.
  • Process tax refunds.
  • Help manage client orders and merchandise movements.
  • Track merchandise deliveries and items held on consignment.
  • Maintain the sales outlet’s management records and tools.
  • Support the continuity of the boutique’s operational activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Commercial training, from CAP to Bac+3 recommended.
  • Sales experience, ideally in luxury, watchmaking and/or jewellery.
  • An interest in technical, high-end products.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong client-service orientation.
  • A taste for sales challenges and a results-oriented approach.
  • Rigour, professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Team spirit and the ability to work in a demanding environment.
  • Fluent English is essential; any other language is a strong advantage.
