OMEGA is hiring a Sales Associate in Chicago to represent luxury timepieces at its North Michigan Avenue boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, consultative service to clients in the boutique, representing OMEGA’s product range and brand values.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling, needs assessment and persuasive closing techniques.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge of mechanical movements, Master Chronometer standards and collection-specific features to advise clients authoritatively.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions, returns and after-sales follow-up in accordance with company procedures.
- Support boutique visual merchandising and presentation to uphold OMEGA’s global retail standards and seasonal directives.
- Build and expand a client database, schedule private appointments and execute targeted outreach to drive repeat business.
- Assist with stock control, inventory audits and receiving of new merchandise, ensuring accurate records and secure handling of high-value items.
- Participate in boutique events, product launches and brand initiatives; liaise with regional teams and head office when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail or watch/jewelry sales, preferably with demonstrable sales results.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, polished presentation and a client-focused demeanour.
- Strong product curiosity and the ability to learn technical details of mechanical watches.
- Comfort with handling high-value merchandise and following strict security and cash-handling procedures.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience (ideally 1–3 years) in luxury retail, watch or fine-jewelry sales is preferred, with a track record of meeting sales targets and developing repeat clientele.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary studies in retail, hospitality, business or related fields preferred.
