Omega seeks a full-time Sales Assistant for its Omega Boutique in Frankfurt. Client-facing role requiring luxury watch knowledge and premium retail experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, consultative service to boutique clientele and convert footfall into sales.
- Present and demonstrate watches and jewellery, explaining mechanical features, complications and materials with technical accuracy.
- Build and maintain client relationships through proactive follow-up, appointment booking and CRM record-keeping.
- Maintain boutique standards: merchandising, product presentation, stock management and visual display consistent with brand guidelines.
- Process sales transactions, handle POS operations and assist with basic after‑sales procedures (returns, repairs intake) and referrals to service centres.
- Support boutique events, product launches and private viewings, collaborating with store management to meet sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in premium or luxury retail; boutique or jewellery/watch retail preferred.
- Demonstrable affinity for luxury watches and jewellery and strong product curiosity.
- Basic technical understanding of mechanical watches and the ability to communicate technical details to clients.
- High standards of personal presentation, meticulous attention to detail and a client‑centric approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanour.
Skills
Experience
Ideally 1–3 years of sales experience in the premium retail sector, with direct exposure to watches or high-end jewellery; experience in a boutique environment is highly valued.
Education
Vocational qualification in retail, sales, or a related field preferred; short technical training or demonstrable knowledge in horology considered an advantage.
